"We Are All the Stars"
A concert celebrating the ways in which we are different

Come and join us for this free concert on March 4, 2024 in the Welty Auditorium. The concert begins at 7:00, and features music from many different perspectives.

New Philadelphia High School will present The Wizard of Oz, March 21-23 in Welty Auditorium. Based on novel by L. Frank Baum and including the score from the 1939 MGM film, this timeless classic will bring a smile to everyone’s face. Join Dorothy as she journeys “Over the Rainbow” to the land of Oz!

The show features Sydney Purcell (Dorothy Gale), Irma Wieslander (Toto), Bella Kaput (Aunt Em/Glinda), Jordi Kopp (Uncle Henry/Guard), Abigail Prucha (Zeke/Lion), Derek Shimek (Hickory/Tin Man), Garin Gingerich (Hunk/Scarecrow), Scarling Hershberger-Budavich (Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch), and Colton Walker (Professor Marvel/The Wizard). 

The rest of the cast includes Olivia Alexander, Mackenna Armstrong, Evelyn Bowers, Braylon Corbin, Heather Demuth, Kyra Ditto, Macie McMillen, Helen Morris, Baylee Roe, Katelynn Scott, Addy VanArsdalen, Eliza VanArsdalen, Annalise Wherley, and Teagan Zimmerman. The show is directed by Sarah Spies with musical direction by Kristi Prucha, choreography by Shannon Mitchell, and additional assistance from Emma Demuth. Show times are 7:00pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at our.show/nphs-twoo.
